Reunited and it feels so good

On our way to Oklahoma, Stu reminded me that Kansas City and when I talked to my parents that day, I floated the idea of them coming to visit since we’ll be here for the week.  I love their adventurous spirits - they didn’t hesitate and immediately started planning their impromptu camping trip!  

This morning, Charlie and I visited “Max” the campground parrot.  I decided to check out the Oklahoma Science Museum with Lucy and Charlie - it was really well done!  We spent the afternoon there and re-provisioned our grocery supply.  

While we were at the museum, I received a great photo of a Jude in front of the rock wall at camp.  Last year, he reached Level Four (of five) for this skill, so he is hoping to achieve the top level this session. 

We came back and cooked dinner and just about the time we finished up, my parents drove up in their Airstream!  The campground was kind enough to shuffle some things around so we could park next to one another.

We had a great evening chatting and catching up and watching Charlie play.
