last day in Santispac
Our tropical paradise stay comes to an end tomorrow. The time on the beach has been so recharging. No internet service, lots of sun and sand time with our noses in books. We have boondocked for 7 nights which is a new record for us. The trailer has done great with our solar panels and we run the generator for about two hours a day to fully charge the batteries.
The full time family group headed south already but are in the town where we are going, so the kids will most likely see their new friends again soon. Buster has loved running on the beach off leash and hanging out with his dog friends. We have had fun combining meals with our new friends - buying fresh scallops or shrimp from local fishermen and grilling them on the beach. These are becoming friends that we will keep for a lifetime and we already dream about future Airstream adventures together.
We had a fun group dinner last night at Armandos - more coconut shrimp, of course. The restaurant has a TV set up right now
with the Superbowl playing. Tomorrow we head south towards La Paz. We will probably make it about halfway and will just stay in a large Pemex (gas station) parking lot.
