Cherry Picking Rally
We started our trip with a night at the Amana Colonies fairground. It was a great halfway point for our trip to Madison. Stu worked and the kids and I were able to spend the days with my sister and her family. Our dear Airstream friends, Tim and Patti, hosted us at their beautiful home. On Thursday after work, we headed up to Door County, WI for the Wisc-Up cherry picking rally. We stayed at Countryside Motel and RV in Sturgeon Bay and it was the perfect jumping off point for exploring Door County! The rally was a blast. We went cherry picking on Friday morning - we picked a bucket of tart and a bucket of sweet cherries. My parents and I went up to The White Gull Inn and I enjoyed their famous Cherry Stuffed French Toast for lunch. Yum! Next we stopped into Lautenbachs Orchard for everything cherry.
