Thanksgiving at The Range

Image
We had a shake down cruise to The Range for a week.  It's an Airstream only park and this was our fourth trip there.  (That makes us official "Range Repeaters") Sarah and Paul have spent years developing the property and they have done a stunning job.  My parents and some local Airstream friends joined us - and we ended up making some new friends too!  Kelly and Pam, new-ish Airstream full-timers were wonderful company and a wealth of information.  Taking advantage of several meals at the barn was one of the highlights of our stay - Thanksgiving dinner, Saturday morning breakfast and Saturday dinner.  The food was delicious and the company was even better.  Looking forward to more visits to the Range in 2022!

The Bougie Zombie

Prepping for Mexico has given us a new energy and reason to get the truck "dialed in" for our adventure.  Stu ordered a full extension bed slide and installed a Voodoo Max Modular Rack over the weekend.  It makes things so much easier to access!  This is all making the trip seem that much more real.  We're camping at The Range this week - it will be the perfect time to test everything out.

Time to get Organized

With five people and three animals going on this caravan, we have to find new and creative ways to get and stay organized!  This weekend we started to make our "to do" list and started going through the truck to see what will stay and what will go.  Stuart built a wooden platform between the wheel wells so we can slide our camping chairs, step stool and tables out easily.  Those tend to be some of the first things we grab when we're setting up camp.  We still have plenty of clearance when we close up the Softopper Cover!
